LAST POST

CRONICAS VIAJERAS (Elvira, Amaya, Miguel Carazo y Zuleika)

This group spoke about ICT and learning disabilities; it means how technologies can help to people with disabilities.  These technologies help them to improve and introduce themselves in class with a motivation to participate.
Some of these disabilities that they spoke were autism, down’s syndrome and motor disabilities.
In autism we are going to find that these types of persons have difficulties like socialization, in the language, thoughts and in imagination. So, we will can improve their conditions through technologies like tablets or cameras, because they will improve the integration support and support to the initiation.

Children with Down’s syndrome have difficulties like the easy distractions, minor initiative and poor differentiation between old and new stimuli. To try to help them with their disabilities we can use technologies like whiteboard and games, because they help them to concentration and in memory aid.

Finally children with motor disabilities use to have physical and motor difficulties and unadapted facilities. People who want to help them use to use MP3, with music, computers and laptops. The result and consequences that these children have with the technologies that I just explained are helps in adaptation, communication and comfort.

AMIGOS DEL FOOTBALL (Sandra, Alex, Cisem and Melike)
This group spoke about inclusive schools. Inclusive schools try to ensure that all the students, teachers and parents participate in school life. They also named some authors like Gordon Porter, Mel Ainscow,, Tony Booth and Gerardo Echeita.
Inclusive schools have many barriers to solve. Some of them are political, cultural ( discrimination and categorization) and didactics ( competitive attitudes, text books etc).
We can solve them through the creation of inclusive cultures, developing inclusive policies and developing inclusive practices.
Some conclusions about this work and inclusive school is that it is a very good idea because everyone must feel integrated , without any discrimination, and this is what we get with these types of schools. To achieve this important goal is important the collaboration between parents, teachers and children. On this way all of them will be implicated in school and they will know well how the education is and try to change it in the best way. This point is also important because is difficult to find schools where all parents collaborate.

THE UNKNOWS (Virginia, Alfonso, Marta y Marina)
This group also spoke about inclusive school. How I said before inclusive education is the process that the society develops to ensure the learning and participation of all students, teachers and parents, with attention to diversity and vulnerability. They also named some authors like Gordon Porter, Mel Ainscow,, Tony Booth and Gerardo Echeita. The general ideas about inclusive education are that it is presented to all the children like a right, it is linked to multicultural education, it is a way to learn all together and inclusive education accept that learning objectives must be flexible. So in summary inclusive education do not leave anyone out, try to promote equal opportunities, democracy and justice. It wants coordination between all the agents included in education, promoting dynamism and interaction between institutions. With inclusive schools the concept of the school as an educational community is developed and promoted.
What types of benefits inclusive education have?, it develops individual strengths, it helps to work in individual goals while participating in the life of the classroom; try to involve parents in education; promote in the school culture and respect; it try to give opportunities to learn about it and accept individual differences; it develops friendships; and promote affect to appreciate diversity and inclusion.
Inclusive education is not always easy and we are going to find some barriers: political, where we find contradictory laws and rules. We can solve this barrier developing a school for all and organizing the attention to diversity. Other barrier is the cultural permanent attitude of categorize and establish discriminatory rules between children. Didactics is other barrier to solve, because competitive attitude, the structure in the curriculum with disciplines and with a lot of books fights against cooperative learning and the learning to resolve real situations.

MUSICAL CHAIRS (Irene, Beatriz, Aipery and David)
The topic of this group was Communication learning. It is the coordination in the classroom between teachers, students and volunteers. Troughs this method we must see that school is not something isolated of the society and that the collaboration of it is necessary and something important.
Society can appear in the school through the volunteers that I named before. These volunteers are persons who do no t have previous degree to teach in class, but that helps to teachers, give talks, perform activities and so on.
To achieve in the institution a good coordination is necessary collaboration, cooperation and understanding between all these members.
This process has three phases: in the first one we think in all the possibilities to improve our institution (physical, methodology, the classroom…); the second phase is about to select between all the proposals, the most feasible or necessary, and which is going to realize. The last phase is to put it in practice what they have decided and go solving the various problems that we can find.

MODERN STUDENTS  (Elia, Shabaneh, Borja, Patri and Maria).

The project was about ways of living together in the school. The topic was divided in 4 parts: the first one was about the school mediation, where appear problems like bullying, violence or exclusion. We can solve them in two ways, through preventive strategies or repair strategies. The mediators are the pupils, teachers and employed non-teaching staff.
Then, the second part was about “peer support program”, which is in relation with the mediator, how to solve problems and so on. Because the objective of this is improve coexistence and reduce cases of abuse. The characteristics of the program are promote the ability and responsabilities, and help improve self-steem. The keys to get the program are that conflicts are as an engine of change and that the responsibility is shared. Finally the result of this program is that the coexistence is going to improve, while the intensity of conflicts is decreased, with an increased safety and satisfaction.
They also spoke about a book called “Archaeology of feelings”, by Miguel Angel Santos Guerra. They spoke about this book because in it we can see a comparison between archaeology and education, most specifically a metaphor between feelings in school and archaeology. It is divided in five steps: discovery; excavation, indagation, protection and expose.
We must name two mentions by the author of this book, and are that all schools are equal and at the same time each of them is unique.
After this they named one school, which is called Kiva International School. It school is based in the investigation that is based in anti-bullying programs. It is developed in the University of Finland. This school has an online webpage, where you can find online training for teachers, students and parents, and there is also an anti-bullying program.
Finally, they put a video where we watched that mediation is when two people have problems they come to the student’s assistant and they solve the problems as adults. In this video we can see the definition about student’s mediator; a student assistant is a person that helps the others when they have a problem or conflict. They get involve when there is some problem, or when someone is angry or nervous, or in many cases like these. The qualities that these students have are that they are solidarys and know how to be empathies. It important to have students like mediators because they helps to others and solve that others can not do

DUMBLEDORE TEACHERS ARMY (ADALISA, GEMA AND GONZALO) AND MARÍA SCHANELL.

In the work of this group we had to answer to two questions:
Why is a leadership important in school? I think that a figure of leader is very important, but always with limits. We are always going to find a leader, who checks students and teachers. It is also important that the person who is the leader is an example to follow to others, so he or she must take care the things that does, these leaders must know to guide. I spoke before about limits, and the main limit is no consider yourself superior than the rest of the people. Leader must help and guide to others, no think that is the only one.

What are the main characteristics of a good leader? In my opinion a good leader must know which are their strengths and try to increase them. He or she must be a guide to everyone, and think constantly in the things that can affects to the group. Everyone must own values, but a leader must own a set o values to guide, and teach that values that he or she has.
A leader must be a set of skills such as communication, be calm and peaceful, getting that all the person work in calm each other.

TEAM PERK (IRINA, SILVIA, JAVIER AND SARA GRANIZO)
The project of this group was ICT and improvement schools. This group divided the project in four parts: teachers and ICT, how to work with the ICT, social learning in schools and other tools.
In the first point that I named is included the digital natives, they are people who has born with technologies; digital divide, it refers to the gap between people who uses technologies or who does not. Finally in this point they spoke about future teachers who must adapt to the technologies that are working at the moment in the world, because they must learnt to use them in class, because trough technologies they can do their classes more interesting and motivating. Teachers also have to understand that technologies have disadvantages, but not for that stop to use them.
With regard the social leaning in schools we can find numerous tools where students can find answers to various problems, such as social networks, internet and so on.
This group used some tools like conventional applications ( iPad or robotics). Some conclusions about this work are that for example social networks provide a lots of possibilities, disvantages, but that can be resolve them, and that teachers need to have a training about the use of technologies and keep actual.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion I think that all these topics are very important in school. One school is not just a place where you teach, it is more than that, and it is something that we have being discovering all the year and we have finish to see it with this project. It is important that teachers and even previous teachers know about all these aspects of the school.
If we have more knowledge about this we can improve the education, and give all the importance to the students, attending their necessities, because sometimes institutions are no aware about the importance of this.
With all these topics we could see the importance of the inclusion, technologies and so on. For example technology is very important in education, because it has a lot of benefits to all types of children, even if they have some disabilities.
We could see different methodologies where we include feelings and empathy, the inclusion of all the children…

Teachers are no the only persons who can resolve problems, if not that parents, mediators, leaders or even volunteers can collaborate together to resolve problems and improve education. All of them need a reinforce, time and work together.

FINAL POST, MIGUEL GONZALEZ MARTIN 1ºB

1-      ICT and improvement school: TEAM PERK
ICT stands for Information and communication technology. ICT are often spoken on a huge variety of contexts such as education or health care. Who applies ICT is granted the opportunity to access information, communicate and so on. That’s exactly what it’s being worked right now at schools. It is feared by some teachers; actually they don’t want to know anything about ICT.
Teachers and ICT à challenge for children and teachers:
Due to the digital divide teachers sometimes feel less qualified to perform their labors, but what these sorts of people ignore is that children are also afraid of that. ICT should be taken as a challenge, a challenge that must be overcome by the joint of teachers and pupils. ICT in class is more about being able to use it cleverly, and teachers should use it as a tool to make a good improve in the learning process.
Social networks are presented as tools that give us solutions in order to communicate with our students, and also between them. They know each other more deeply and offer the chance to eliminate those fears with ICT.
To prevent that irrational fear from teachers, at first it should be created some training courses for those who don’t control technology so that they could achieve the necessary strength to face ICT difficulties, because they must be aware of their pupils needs.
On one hand, giving special attention to generations that could not enjoy the advantage of technology in classrooms, there must be provided some areas (university, high schools) where it will be developed this skills so as not have this possible problems.
The ICT main aim is to break the digital divide in every single aspect, like in schools. Technological advantages are increasing and it is an obligation to give children the chance to catch up.
Advantages and disadvantages:
Nowadays some schools are introducing tablets instead of books, they work efficiently all the subjects in there, they do not pay for books and earn extra complex content faster than ever, nevertheless, we are not taking into account that they are children and we are putting in their little hands a very expensive and delicate tool. Books can be lend and fall down to the floor but tablets not. As giving them these materials they should be mature enough to take care of it.

2-      INCLUSIVE SCHOOLS: Amigos del fútbol / Unknowns
There are barriers and challenges and what inclusive schools are looking for is to destroy those barriers and overcome those challenges being stablished by a previously well-designed framework where we include classrooms, activities, programs, schedules of the school that guarantee that every single child would take advantage of that, so they develop skills, participate and learn all together.
The objective of an inclusive school is to provide some competent educational solutions for children and these solutions are thought to be resolved inside the current essence. Inclusive schools have been born recently as special need for the educational society.
“Amigos del futbol” gave us some explanations about four authors, what they concluded is that inclusive schools are a process that never ends for the diversity we are experiencing right now , that must be supported by quality and equity, and is very related to multicultural education. Inclusion should be worked in all schools, but they need the help of the policy, communities and also families. So, inclusive schools try to give solutions and answers to all children so they will learn better and faster, but it is impossible to respond everyone in a 30 children classroom being just one person, as we know inclusive education is for all types of children from other places, countries, with disabilities, so some institutions must give aids to settle this fact.
In some videos our partners shown us there was presented individual needs, and teachers supporting the curriculum being able to know what it was happening, also being aware what their children need or feel, what would be successful and comfortable. Children have rights, regardless of whether they are disabled or not, we are all equal and we must strive for an inclusive education, which doesn’t leave anyone behind, our culture have different goals as children exist, so let’s turn the inclusion in one of those goals and enjoy our differences and diversity in all the areas as much as possible.

3-      Leadership and school effectiveness. Dumbledore teachers army
Leaderships provides and improves effectiveness in schools, due to leadership, it gives us the motivation with high expectations to pursuit some objectives no matter what. Leaders are the ones followed by a crowd of people and they have the capacity to make good strategies, think faster than the rest, and be more competent. They know how to focus on the plans they make, exploiting through their team work the different abilities and fostering the collaborations between their partners. In my opinion teachers should include this ability in subjects where children can play different roles e.g.: making projects, or searching information for something special the teacher is requiring. But this that easy, some children are shy and don’t have the strength necessary to be a leader, that’s why teachers should be the tool that grants them the opportunity.
There are some strategies very useful to put children in the skin of a real leader, convincing them with the things they like interest and enjoy the most, providing them some examples of national leaders. Being leaders we ensure that they acquire some skills that will be very useful in their likes, leadership effectiveness resides in the collaboration, empathy and respect between pupils. Teaching these moral things through educational programs they will get anything they propose.
4-      Ways of living together in schools Moderns students
It is based on eradicating bullying, violence, aggressions, low stem and that stuff.  They talked about the school mediation, such a bridge that links students and teachers in order to solve problems by preventing and acting judiciously being objective.
All of this must be supported by a program that take care of achieving these goals with collaboration, and creating a grouped consciousness where children know and control their feelings, this is very tied to emotional and social learning, the difference I see is that this is like a kind of “utopia” issue.
The example of KIVA school, showed us an anti bullying research putting into practice over programs where children can learn how they can freely live and coexist with other children, being able to solve their conflicts avoiding things such as physical and verbal aggressions, knowing what they produce and what they can do to other peers with their behavior.

5-      ICT AND LEARNING DISABILITIES Cronicas viajeras
This team started showing us their conceptual map divided into 3 items.
Disabilities: Autism an syndrome that is characterized by a neurological disorder that impede them to socialize in an appropriate way, this affects to their communication skills, social learning and interaction reflected in our current culture. Down syndrome, a genetic disorder caused by a chromosomal abnormality. Down syndrome occurs when an individual has a full or partial extra copy of chromosome 21 (tree itead of two). And motor disabilities, which is not referred only to the movement of the body but also the social inhibition.
Through that map we saw the difficulties (not problems) these people have most of the difficulties are shared with people who don’t have any disability. The other part was about the inclusion of technologies to help them, and the last one, results and consequences
They provided videos of how technologies can help them.
It’s very important the communication, in fact, it is essential for them.
Actually they are underestimated, these people are usually very intelligent and smart, even more than others considered “normal”. They have provably more potential than the rest, but they have some limitations that cannot afford them to reach that state, that’s why I think that technology is a very special and useful tool in order to help them to develop the skills they can’t by themselves.
These solutions and aids, that technology furnishes, give them high stem and happiness by reducing those difficulties.
We saw that tablets, which attract the attention with plays, sounds and colors, help autism children to focus and concentrate more. Whiteboards are useful with down syndrome to improve their memory. And computers with motor disabilities that enable them to speak and express their selves,
So in conclusion technologies must be considered in these terms as a blessing for people with disabilities.

6-      LEARNING COMMUNITIES Musical chairs.
I would like to see how they would explain their project but they couldn’t, I consider this topic worth enough to be talked and that’s a pity.
First of all I think that everybody would have learn a lot by searching for this, from the coexistence with one self, through family to the social community.
Related to the education we can talk about the learning community inside the education, between teachers and pupils. This can be like a pyramid where we have some backgrounds on the floor and in the top the high institutions or maybe it can be like a circle where all are members and collaborate with each other.
By doing this we can be aware of the others feelings taking into account the effort of both sides.
They have presented tree parts; the first one is about showing all the possibilities to make a better center in terms of methodologies and odds. The second one is choosing with critical mind, and being realistic, the items that can be possible to put it into test. And last one, as I said before, after discarding the bad or useful less ideas, put it finally into practice.
If take for granted education and collaboration we will be lost, it is indispensable to make a real and shared learning community.

7-      SOCIAL AND EMOCIONAL LEARNING WANDERLUST
This was our topic and I have to say that I was scared, because I’ve never been able to conclude a summary of such a huge widely open concept that embraces too many things.
But I am very satisfied with the results; we search information as an individual. We divided the project in some parts that makes up our conceptual map. Social and emotional learning has been born as a need, as other topics we have talked about previously. It is based on neouroscience, psyconeuroinmunology and multiple intelligences.
The main aim is to acquire a better understanding of one's emotions, control and identify others, preventing adverse effects of negative emotions and now how to generate positive emotions and motivation. By these objectives children would develop empathy and social skills regardless facts such us mood, humor, or intra-personal problems.
In the project explanation below we have put our project but the most important thing to say about social and emotional is that we must BE HAPPY. Children have feelings for sure, we, as teachers must show them to feel what all they can feel, feel what others can feel. From the beginning of the education we should show them to experience every single feeling, this fact will encourage them for their future lives. I really enjoy doing this last project and it was a shame not to do the play which consists in putting some colors on the floor. Red: anger; Blue: sadness; Green: Calm; Yellow: Happiness; and Purple: Scare.

We would put some songs and by hearing them, people go to the color and must realize what they can feel with that song, by this play, people could put themselves in the skin of others for example wondering why they can relate a happy song with a sad memory of their life and so on.

CONCLUSION:
The final conclusion is that I can perceive all the topics and items are very conected between them in one way or another, I can perfectly speak about social and emocional learning in every single topic I've written, or link the inclusive schools with leadership and school effectiveness for example.
I do not consider this an individual work. We have interact a lot between each other and this final post is based on the ideas of all of us, the eight groups, without noticing what we were doing it all together but separately.
I really enjoy this final fact.

CRONICAS VIAJERAS:

This presentation talks about ICT and learning disabilities. Personally what more me pleases this one group is his way of presenting the works, they prove to be very comfortable at the moment of speaking publicly and always one notices that they have internalized the contents and that they have worked equally. In his work they spoke about the children with disability and about how the technologies can help them to take part more in class, to relating to the others, etc. After giving a small explanation on of that there was consisting his work of general form, they centred on the autism, the syndrome of down and on the disability engine.
The autism impedes the socialization with the others, the development of the language and for example to developing the imagination. For the autism my companions proposed to use the tablets and the cameras. With it we had result and consequences like integration support. With the motor disability, for example, they propose use mp3 and Computers. It can helps about adaptation or in communication.
All this initiatives I think are really interesting and the video what an example about how we can put it in practice.

AMIGOS DEL FOOTBALL:

Their topic was inclusive schools. They start their presentation talking about what means a inclusive school and They started by speaking that were the inclusive schools and describing some of the characteristics of these schools.
A very important point that they indicated is the difference between incorporation and integration. After this they indicated the thought of four authors on this type of schools and the inclusive education, this part for my was a bit more regular, since, they had not internalized the information, but I liked it very much equally. They showed the barriers that they present with regard to these schools and that concern his development, proposed solutions. To finish they taught us two colleges that follow this method in Spain. The college O'Pelouro and It Loved Berri.
As a conclusion this work has seemed to me to be very interesting, it seems to me that it should develop more this type of colleges, I agree with the ideas that defend and believe that living in a company, it is necessary to begin from small when all coexist with all.

MODERN STUDENTS:

Their topic was “Ways of living together in the school” They divided his work in several parts, the first one it was the school mediation. It seems to me to be very important to do incapié in this one, I think that it is essential in order that the pupils remove well between them, in isolated this one they spoke why problems take place as the violence or the bullying, made clear that the aim of the mediator was to solve these problems by means of the dialog.
Another part was the " program of help between equalize " that goes on the relation with the mediator, to speak and to solve the problems, and so on. The third part of the work, it had to see with a book that seemed to me to be very interesting; he was comparing the archaeology with the feelings, in this one book metaphors appear as excavating, to protect, etc. It looks like to me a way of showing the feelings to the children as in our work for what I like the initiative.
In the last part of his work they were showing a college of Finland, I think that he was called Kiba, it was working hard to finish with the bullying.
To finish we saw a video in the one that was showing himself a college in the one that existed the pupils assistants, the pupils were very contestos and existed proved.

TEAM PERK:

Their work was about ICT and improvement schools, firts they explain how we can work with ICT in schools, about social learning and so on. They indicate that the future teachers must finish with the digital gap that exists between the native digital ones and the educational system that does not represent them, since, his teachers do not control the ICT without realizing that it is the new reality of the pupils.
The future teachers will have to incorporate the technologies into the classes they make them more kept women for the pupils and especially to teach them to use them with responsibility. Also it is very important that the parents of the pupils help with the technologies and use them in house. They were proposing to use the technologies in order that the children were doing projects and were looking for information for his account and this way they were learning to use for yes same.
As conclusion on this group would say that they proposed ideas to take the technologies to the classroom, since with robotic and different applications and me parecio very interesting

DUMBLEDORE TEAM:

The following group, Dumbledore team could not expose completely his presentation but it was very nice for what we could see, both questions to which I have to answer are:
1.       Why is leadership important in school? And 2. What are the main characteristic of a good leader?
This group has changed his composition for this last work, normally it are four persons but this time three have been alone, since, there has been more than one problem, and Maria Schnell has worked alone though speaking about the same topic. Both groups you speak about the leadership but from two very different points. For this reason I am going to speak about a global form, including both works.
Answering the first question I think that the function of leadership is important since always it is necessary to follow a control, but simultaneously this person has to transmit confidence, respect, seriousness ... a few values, since in addition, in the area of the education it will use as model for many pupils. I think that it is important to follow an order in the centre.
About the second question, In my opinion to be a good leader it is necessary to be clear with the ideas and the aims that you want to obtain as leader, you have to say always the truth and be a person in whom it is possible to trust, must choose to introduce and learn constant new things, it has to prove to be determined.
These ideas have been completed thanks to the work of my companions, with all these characteristics we will obtain an effective college.

MUSICAL CHAIRS:

Their topic was Community Learning To this group it had not time him to exhibiting another day, I had liked to see his exhibition since I think that his work and his topic were interesting enough. Beginning with what it means community learning, we might say that it is the coordination between teachers, pupils and other persons of the community inside the college. With this there is tried that one sees the school as something that is inside the company, which can be used by any person of the community and which he needs from the civil collaboration. In addition they propose that the "volunteers" should collaborate, these persons would not have for that to have previous qualifications to give lessons, but it would be busy with helping the teacher to give chats, to control the children in the class, to realize activities. In order that this one coordination is a success the miembro of the community owe of credit a cooperation between all since I have said previously. According to our companions this process has 3 differentiated phases:
The first one, dream; about this first phase they think all the possibilities to improve the center both in the methodology and in the facilities. The second phase is based in selecting inside all the ideas said in the first phase the most feasible, which are more necessary and in the last phase these ideas put into practice. I believe that of a very schematic form, this group has developed a topic that seems to me to be essential at the moment of being employed at a college, at my opinion at very importantly the collaboration with the community, since, they will take more seriously the education

OUR GROUP: WANDERLUST TEAM

Our topic was a social and emotional learning, I think that we manage to fulfill the aims that we had planned for this work as improving to speak publicly or to work more time together.
I had liked that it was having time to realizing the game since, though we think that our topic remained very clear it was an enterteining way of making concrete the terms that we had said during the exhibition and dedicate him enough time when we were doing the work, our activity was based in listening to parts of different songs and expressing that emotion was making feel every song to you with this one activity we wanted to demonstrate that not we all feel the same thing in the same activity and that it is necessary to respect the emotions of the rest.
Down below we explain each of the points of our work
.
FINAL CONCLUSION:

I think all groups develop their topics really well, Is really important that we as future teachers know all this theories and watch that there are schools which are following this theories.

SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING!!

We are going to star with, What is social and emotional learning?:
Rafel bisquerra:
Emotional learning has been born recently as a social need that is not served in academic subjects we all know.
It is based on:
- Neuroscience
- Psychoneuroimmunology
- Multiple Intelligences
Main goal:
• Develop different emotional competencies: -
·       Emotional Awareness
·       Emotional regulation
·       Self-management
·       Interpersonal intelligence
·       Life Skills
·       Welfare
- Acquire a better understanding of one's emotions, control and identify others.
- Prevent adverse effects of negative emotions
- Know how to generate positive emotions and motivation
How? Through programs based on theoretical frameworks.
With a good team prepared teaching faculty.
What we get with the emotional and social learning?
·       Increased social skills and satisfying interpersonal relationships.  Less antisocial behavior and social adaptation.
·       Decrease of violence, aggression and self-defeating thoughts improving self-esteem
·        Improvement of the academic performance.
·       Decrease of sadness and depressive symptoms, anxiety and stress.  BE HAPPY.

METHODOLOGY
Emotions in class:
·       We have to work emotions every day with pupils so they can understand what they feel and to control their emotions
·       Work empathy and assertiveness will develop a good ambient in class and between students.
·       To set 10 minutes when we start or finish the class to pupils express how they feel that day or during the class and know the feelings of the rest.
·       We as teacher help children to feel happy; f.e. if a kid has a problem and he is angry, we can help him with it and propose solutions.
Multiple Intelligences in class:
§       EMOTION INTELLIGENCE WEEK, all children has developed it, is understand and
§       If pupils cannot solve an activity in any subject, they can feel frustrated and sad; if we work with multiple intelligences they would know that they have not to feel as a failure (fracaso)
§       With teacher’s help, know what kind of intelligence have every pupil and found how we can develop it
§       Projects to work in groups, every child choose a topic inside the project based in their intelligence
Cooperative learning:
o      Learning how to control her emotions and empathy with other help to create friendships
o      Positive reinforcement ( support of the group ) when group agree with the idea of a member
o      Students feel comfortable with their partners, classroom as a place where they can stay calm and work together without discuss between them
o      Respect others opinion will promote that pupils feel accomplished
o      NO BULLYING; if pupils know how their partners feel and they work together we could avoid numerous cases of bullying.

EMPATHY

Empathy is the tool that we have and use to live in community, because facilitate the communication, the resolution to conflicts and the cooperative work. Without empathy all these things would not be possible.
We can develop empathy, but the problem is that we also can stock it.
How can we stock empathy?, This happens where a child for example have parents who ignore his or her emotions. The result is going to be a child who ignores his emotions, and the emotions of the rest of people.

How can we develop empathy in class? To develop it we should:
- Attend to the emotions of children; listening to their emotions they will start to attend to their own and of the others.
-The active listening; we must teach to children how to listen to their partners; finding out their emotions through their voice, the gestures they do etc.
- Teach games based in empathy techniques to the resolution of conflicts. For example: Walk in my shoes!! The base of this game is to take the place of other.

THINGS TO MAKE A TEACHER TO DEVELOP EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Emotional stimulation: teachers have to stimulate in class the expression of emotions; both positive and negative emotions, although the latter are more difficult to express.

Environment: teachers must create specific environments to develop socio-emotional. Ej: the exposition to personal or group experiences to resolve.

Teach empathy skills: for example; learn to listen, understand the different points of view of others, pay attention, cooperation, and so on

Equality: teacher must respect deeply to all their students; without a special relation with no one. This is going to create a mutual respect and reinforce their confident.

Deep knowledge of the students:  teacher must know the different messages that students transmit, answering to their interest and necessities. This improves the communication with them and gets a better integration.

cher as model: teachers must care their actions and attitudes, in front of their students.

The family is an important part of the emotional model, since they are the first space of socialization and education that children have.
-The teacher-student interactions are an ideal place to develop emotional education with daily activities: For example: speak about problems and change opinions and advices.
Teacher speak about how he revolved typical problems that students have, or even through the creation of tags that allow to learn about feelings ( with films, books…).

We organice an activity really interesting about the book that you can watch in the second video :) , in this activity we are going to mix music and emotional, is about listen different songs which shows different emotions as happy from Pharrel williams or Nirvana and explain what we feel with each of them, we are not going to feel the same, we all are differents so when we finish we can see it and talk about it.
Our video is an example of social and emotional learning so, as you can see, it works and it is a good options to finish with bullying, problems between teachers-students and so on. And the book for our activity:

Asperger --> Miguel González Martín

 Hans asperger:
This is the man we know this mental disorder from. He was pediatrician, researcher, Austrian psychiatrist and professor of medicine. He is known for his early studies of mental disorders, especially in children.

Asperger's birthday, on February 18, was declared as the International Day of Asperger Syndrome.
Asperger identified four boys in a pattern of behavior that included "a lack of empathy, little ability to make friends, conversations with oneself, intense attachment to a particular case, and clumsy movements."

The conclusion I have reached is that the Asperger syndrome (which affects in Spain at least 350,000 people 1% of the world population has some disorder spectrum), differs from autism spectrum in that there is no a delay in language.
Asperger people do not understand our world, that’s why there's a huge difficulty regarding relationships or irony understanding for them. They feel like they are lost, like there something missing, sometimes they want to laugh like the rest of us, but they can’t.
I have found a letter a little boy called Benjamin wrote for their language class, which explains perfectly what this syndrome means:

“I'm weird, I'm new. I wonder if so you are.
I hear voices in the air, I see that you don’t and that’s not fair.
I do not want to feel sad.
I'm weird, I'm new. So pretend you are too.
I feel like a kid in outer space. I touch the stars and I feel out of place.
I worry about what others might think. I cry when people laugh, it makes me shrink. (mad)
I'm weird, I'm new. Now I understand that you are too.
I say, "I feel like a castaway". I dream with the day this will be fixed.
I try to fit in. I hope someday to.

 I'm weird, I'm new.”

This poem has seriously touched my heart and I hope yours too. Embrace yourself, we are all equal.
